2011-02-10: Learn about the EQF and how sectors are using it (Glasgow, UK)

Join us in sharing best practice at a specially organised event which brings together sectoral reprsentatives, national co-ordination points (NCPs) and a number of relevant sectoral development projects.
In conjunction with the National Co-ordination Points throughout the UK, the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework Partnership is holding a UK event in The Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow on 10th February 2011 from 10.00am to 3.00pm to explore how sectors are making use of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). For employers and learning providers alike, the EQF makes it easier to compare qualifications levels across often-differing national systems. The EQF supports labour market mobility both between and within countries and sectors and enables better matching between supply and demand for knowledge, skills and competence.
This event aims to bring sectoral representatives and sector-based development projects together with the National Co-ordination Points to share thoughts and ideas on current and (possible) future developments relating to the EQF and to further examine ways in which we can develop more effective partnerships through networking.
A full programme for the day will follow early in the New Year but for now we would like you to hold the date in your diary to ensure you do not miss out on what will be an interesting and informative, collaborative knowledge-sharing and networking event.
