The workshop stems from recommendations in the Leuven Communiqué 2009, which identify RPL as a significant area for consolidation and development within Higher Education in Europe as part of the Bologna process. It will be hosted by QAA Scotland and Scottish Government.
The event will consist of a series of plenaries and workshops in the area of RPL in relation to the Bologna themes such as lifelong learning, flexible learning paths, access and widening participation. This will be followed by a Ministerial reception with Fiona Hyslop MSP.
