The project partners of the LdV project MSNQF (Marketing Sectoral/National Qualifications Framework) are organising a “breakfast presentation” which will take place in the premises of the European Parliament on December the 3rd.
Overview:
- Introduction by the MEP Paul RÜBIG, from SME UNION
- Keynote speaker: Michel ARIBAUD, DG EAC policy maker
- Presentation of the project by Francis PETEL, representing the European Marketing Confederation
- Contribution by Ivor Blumenthal, from SSETA (Services Sector Education and Training Authority – South Africa) and partner of the project, about the extension of a ZMT outside Europe
- Questions or short contributions from the audience.
The presentation will include:
- A contextualization of the EQF reference levels to the sector of marketing and sales.
- Findings, linked to the relationship between professional descriptors (mappings, occupational standards) and the learning outcomes descriptors, providing pathway for increased transparency between professionals and academics
- A joint proposal by the partners (National authorities and sectoral representatives) as to the conditions of success for building a zone of mutual trust between sectoral organisations and national authorities for sectoral qualifications throughout Europe.
