On the occasion of the launch of the Flemish Qualifications Framework, the Flemish authorities organize an international seminar on qualifications frameworks. Speakers from inside and outside Europe will present a state of affairs on qualifications frameworks from an international perspective and will also discuss the future possibilities of these frameworks. Then the seminar concentrates on the development proces of the Flemish Qualifications Framework, the objectives and the future applications of the Flemish Qualifications Structure in different contexts. The seminar ends with reflections on the Flemish Qualifications Framework from Belgian federal and international viewpoints. The seminar will bring together representatives of European countries, Belgian federal and regional public authorities, education and training institutions and social partners as well as academics to discuss the above topics and to exchange experiences.
